Daniel Burke-Agüero and Alicia TrosserDaniel Burke-Agüero and Alicia Trosser first crossed paths seven years ago during a summer internship. But it wasn’t until years later, when they ran into each other at The Crossing Church in Columbia, that Alicia finally asked Daniel to coffee.

It just took a bit of persistence (four offers to be exact) until Daniel said yes. They grabbed a beer at Gunter Hans in downtown Columbia and the rest is history, as they say. After about ten months, hundreds of dates and deep conversations about the future, Daniel asked Alicia to marry him at the big tree in McBaine. This time, she was the one to say yes.

The couple married on October 14, 2016, at Alicia’s childhood home in Frankenstein, Mo., surrounded by close friends and family. Teaching Pastor at The Crossing Church Ryan Wampler officiated the ceremony at Alicia’s family farm. One could not have asked for a more beautiful day in October!

Alicia wore a gorgeous Maggie Sottero top with a BHLDN Lazio Skirt. Her hair and makeup were done by Sarah Nelson. Daniel and his groomsmen were dressed to the nines in tuxes from Samuel’s Tuxedos in Jefferson City. Addie Jane Originals, located in Hallsville, did the beautiful flowers for both the ceremony and reception.

Friends and family danced the night away to the music of The Late Night Benedictions and enjoyed delicious cake made by the mother of the groom, Hannia Burke.

The bride’s parents are Denise and Russell Troesser of Frankenstein, Mo. The groom’s parents are Donald and Hannia Burke-Agüero of Columbia.

The couple honeymooned at Lake Atitlan in Guatemala before heading back to Columbia where Daniel is a loan officer at Veterans United and Alicia is the art director at Caledon Virtual.
