One of my favorite things that come from the season change and cooler weather is a warm, boozy, delicious cocktail. Apple cider buttered rum has all my favorite spices and is sure to be just the treat you are looking for when partaking in fall festivities.
Apple Cider Buttered Rum
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon cardamom
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cloves
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 ounces rum
cinnamon sticks (optional garnish)
Combine all ingredients except rum in a saucepan on the stovetop and warm through until hot; stir to combine.
Divide rum into four glasses and add warmed cider/butter combo.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
