By The Boone County Fair is back! Starting next week, mid-Missourians will have a chance to experience all kinds of events including a beer garden with live music, face painting and swine races.
The fair, located at 5212 Oakland Gravel Road in Columbia, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5-9 p.m.
Tickets are $10 each through Friday, and $15 on Saturday. Community members can also get a season pass for $35, and kids ages 6 and under are free. Thanks to a sponsorship from Veterans United, veterans will get free admission for the entire week with a military ID.
The Boone County Fair has been around bringing bright lights, activities, drinks and good memories since 1835.
