By Fans of whiskey, food and good conversation will have a chance to enjoy all three every third Monday of the month at the Dive Bar. The Dive Bar Whiskey Club was created to showcase fine whiskeys, bourbons and scotches, while offering customers a place for conversation.
The first event tasted five whiskeys including, Tennessee, Kentucky bourbon, Canadian whiskey, Irish whiskey and a scotch.
Each month, the plan is to have a similar lineup, offering five different whiskeys for people to taste, along with a buffet meal to enjoy. The next event is set for Aug. 15. Tickets are $40 a person and must be purchased in advance. The bar will only be open for those who have signed up for the event. Afterwards, people can purchase any of the whiskeys they tried at a discounted price.
