By Construction on the new CoMo Cooks shared kitchen has officially started. The kitchen has been temporarily located on Walnut Street while the permanent location gets built on the Business Loop.
The Loop says the new space is a 3200-square-foot street-level space located at 14 Business Loop 70 E. The expanded kitchen will have several cooking bays, a baking kitchen, production kitchen, food truck access and space for pop-ups.
Recently, it received a $250,000 Workforce Development Grant from the city of Columbia for build-out and equipment.
