Santa’s Wonderland is the ultimate free family Christmas event. The magic returns to Bass Pro Shops and Columbia-area families are invited to enjoy this enchanting Christmas village offering FREE 4×6 studio-quality photos with Santa and free family holiday activities including fun crafts and games.

Features include rustic Christmas cabins, holiday characters and live elves set amongst a dazzling backdrop of snow-covered hills and illuminated Christmas trees. The Santa’s Wonderland Christmas village offers remote control trucks, laser/ foam toy arcade, Lincoln Logs building area and much more. Kids can also enjoy free crafts, coloring stations and write a letter to Santa.

Guests can reserve their free visit and photo with Santa using the free Bass Pass system. Visit the Bass Pass Ticket Depot located at the entrance of Santa’s Wonderland to pick up a time-stamped pass. (OR, for digital passes) Guests can register online for a digital Bass Pass to see Santa, allowing them time to explore Santa’s Wonderland or shop while they wait. Updates and reminders will be sent via text messages.

In addition, Bass Pro Shops stores are designated toy drop-off stations for Toys for Tots. Families that bring a new toy to donate Saturday and Sunday, November 24-25, will receive a FREE premium photo package valued at $20.

Help out our furry friends this holiday season! Calhoun’s is offering gift wrapping for $1 per present, with each $1 donation going to The Central Missouri Human Society. Calhoun’s will always wrap gifts purchased there, but for a limited time they’re offering this special holiday service.

You can bring your own gift wrap and ribbon, or buy theirs. Gift wrap will cost 50 cents a foot, and ribbon 15 cents a foot, while supplies last. There will be an additional charge for boxes, depending on size.

This year marks the 34th Anniversary of the Christmas Tour and release of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, an album that revolutionized the Holiday Season music category.

Grammy Award^™ winner Chip Davis will direct and co-produce Tour performances with MagicSpace Entertainment. The show features classic Christmas hits as well as a selection of  “Fresh Aire “ compositions from  Mannheim Steamroller, along with dazzling multimedia effects in an intimate setting.  In addition to being a holiday tradition for many families, the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tour regularly attracts repeat attendance from multi-generational guests and is one of the longest running tours in the music industry.

The Missouri Symphony League will be hosting their 35th Annual Holiday Home Tour on Friday Nov. 30, 1-4 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 1,  10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2, 1-4 p.m.   Four lovely southwest Columbia homes, fully decorated for the holidays, will be open for the tour.  Drive between the homes.  Walk through the homes: each home will have docents explaining the highlights of the home.

Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door and $10 each for 10 or more tickets.

This Tony Award-winning musical retrospective celebrates the life and times of Ellie Greenwich, whose doo-wop sounds skyrocketed to the top of the ’60s charts. The story of Ellie’s rise to fame and fortune is punctuated with the virtual hit parade of her music: “Chapel of Love,” “Da Doo Ron Ron,” “Be My Baby,” “Hanky Panky,” Do Wah Diddy Diddy,” “And Then He Kissed Me” and, of course, the title song, “Leader of the Pack.”
