By Spin and weave and get creative with Access Arts’ new fibers courses this spring! Three courses have been added and are available for registration with weaving instructors, Marina Cano and Emily Smith, and spinning instructor, Katie Dodig leading the courses.
The beginning spinning class is 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays starting on Feb. 28 through April 10. The beginning weaving class is 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays starting on Feb. 29 through April 11. Lastly, the advanced weaving class meets from 2-4 p.m. on Sundays beginning March 3 through April 14.
These courses are in addition to Access Arts’ continuing fibers classes. This spring, they are offering the continuing advanced spinning class 6-8 p.m. on Mondays, starting Feb. 26 through April 8. This class will be held at Access Arts’ Fibers Studio located at 800 Moss St. The continuing youth fibers class for children ages 6-12 is 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturdays beginning on March 2 through April 13. It will be held at Access Arts’ Youth Programs Classroom located at 1724 McAlester St.
