Acting Up Summer Theatre Camp

This summer Compass Church of Columbia will once again host Acting Up Summer Theatre Camp. Local professional actress and director, Melissa Webel, will lead five fun-filled daily camp sessions for kids entering K-5th grade. Sessions will consist of improv games, Bible study & snack time, and rehearsals for a Friday night performance (and reception) that will feature select songs and excerpts from the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.”

  • Kids entering K-2nd attend daily from 8:30-11 a.m.
  • Kids entering 3rd-5th attend daily from 9:30 a.m.-noon
  • Friday night performance & reception from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Participants will receive an Acting Up T-shirt, Bible study booklet, rehearsal materials and daily snack.  A fenced in playground and air-conditioned family lounge area will be available to waiting family members during camp sessions.
