1 p.m.:  Registration and pre-walk activities; purchase commemorative T-shirts
1:45 p.m.:  Step-off and walk

23rd Annual Fundraising Walk that supports 5 Columbia food programs: Loaves & Fishes Soup Kitchen/Community Meal; Fifth Street Christian Church “Feed the Community” monthly meal; Russell Chapel Community Food Pantry; Latter House Ministries Food Pantry; Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture “Rows for Pantries”. In addition, an international program of Church World Service, Zero Hunger for Timor Indonesia is supported to provide chickens and gardens to increase childhood nutrition.

2018 Walk is honoring the work of Edith Prince, founder and retired director of Russell Chapel Food Pantry. A long-time food pantry director and advocate, she motivated nursing colleagues, friends, family and faith groups to support the food pantry opened in 2001, bringing food access to central Columbia.
