“Deaf Jam”

Don’t miss a free screening of “Deaf Jam” in the Friends Room of the Columbia Public Library. The film tells the tale of Aneta Brodski, a deaf teenager living in Queens, New York, who joins an extracurricular program to learn American Sign Language poetry and consequently finds her voice as a poet. Following the screening, students from MU’s American Sign Language classes will perform their interpretations of hit Broadway songs and today’s chart toppers.
