Columbia based rock band Richard Parker is announcing the release of a new EP titled “Black Knight Satellite” to CD and all digital music outlets. They will be celebrating by performing their 2nd Facebook LIVE concert at The Station House at Katfish Katy’s on Sunday August 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. Located at 8825 Sarr St, in Columbia.
SPECIAL GUEST will be Columbia alternative rock band Moose Plural. Richard Parker is excited to share the stage again with this great group of guys!!
YOU ARE INVITED TO THIS FREE EVENT!
Although the Facebook LIVE concert is in celebration of their EP release, they are also celebrating and promoting healthy living. So, this event will also serve as a food drive to support The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri. There will be barrels there for people to drop in their donations. Since The Station House sits along the historic Katy Trail State Park, the band will use their event to highlight the trail and encourage the community to get out and be active on the trail that day. To help them promote and support this message, the band is partnering with the following businesses and organizations:
a. PedNet Coalition, Inc.— The mission of PedNet Coalition is to create a comprehensive active transportation network, promote healthy lifestyles for all, and engage the community through education and advocacy.
b. CYCLEX— As Columbia’s premier bike shop, Cyclex will have a mobile service and repair booth set up to do small repair work on bikes for those out riding the trail.
c. His Musician Pool–His Musician Pool supports busy and active musicians with recording services.
Mark your calendars for August 5th and get ready for an afternoon of fun!
