The Southside Philharmonic Orchestra, in collaboration with Vox Nova, presents Bach Cantatas nos. 79 and 80. The Mendelssohn Symphony No. 5 in D minor, op. 107 rounds out this concert on Friday, November 3, 2017, in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  Vox Nova is the esteemed choral ensemble from Columbia.  The concert will be performed in the beautiful sanctuary of Central United Church of Christ in the historic Southside/Old Munichburg neighborhood of Jefferson City. The Southside Philharmonic Orchestra (SPO) is a new chamber orchestra in Jefferson City comprised of some of the finest local musicians, and is directed by Dr. Patrick Clark.
