“When We Were Young And Unafraid”

See the provocative play “When We Were Young And Unafraid” at the Warehouse Theatre, featuring resonating dialogue around the issues of domestic violence. Set in 1972, before Roe v. Wade and the Violence Against Women Act, the central character, Agnes, runs a quiet bed and breakfast where victims of domestic violence seek refuge and ultimately achieve self-realization. The playwright, Sarah Treem, is on the forefront of film and theater, having served as a writer on the inaugural season of “House of Cards.”
