Take the plunge this Saturday at Finger Lake State Park! This year’s Polar Plunge will host its opening ceremony at noon on Saturday, with day-of registration starting at 10 a.m.
This event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics Missouri athletes by walking, running or crawling into the frigid winter waters. Last year, the Columbia Plunge had 193 plungers and raised more than $61,500! This one-of-a-kind event promises a fun atmosphere, complete with music, costumes and lasting memories for everyone. Even if you can’t physically take the plunge, you can still participate by donating and supporting the plungers.
Registration is $10, but all participants must raise $75 in order to plunge. Click here to register.
Incentives for money raised include:
- $75 (minimum): 2025 Polar Plunge T-shirt
- $100: lanyard
- $250: hat
- $500: heated vest
- $1,000: cooler backpack
