By Cleanup Columbia, the city’s annual, citywide litter pick-up event, begins April 1!
Due to the pandemic, Cleanup Columbia changed from a one-day event format and instead allowed residents to choose the date and time they wanted to pick up trash. The feedback was so positive that the city decided to continue the format this year.
You can register to pick up litter along a street, stream, trail or in a city park. You pick the date and time and the city will provide you with a location assignment, bags, gloves and vests. If you need to, you can arrange to have your full bags picked up once you’re finished cleaning!
