By If you’re looking for a new kitten or just want to learn more about how to take care of them, then there’s an event for you this weekend.
The Central Missouri Humane Society is hosting a kitten shower from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Lizzi & Rocco’s Natural Pet Market on Green Meadows Road. The free, family-friendly event is meant for both current and future foster families for new kittens, but there also will be adoptable kittens available. The afternoon also will include games, prizes and bottle demonstrations for feeding new kittens.
While the event is free, attendees and anyone interested is encouraged to help the Central Missouri Humane Society by purchasing and donating an item off the organization’s kitten season Amazon wishlist.
