By A nutritious Columbia favorite has reopened its doors, with a new look and new owners.
Tiger Nutrition held a grand reopening late last month with new owners Kristina and James Weston. You might recognize the shop by its new bright blue door, located at 47 E. Broadway, suite B. Kristina Weston also has incorporated new items to the menu, including loaded fruit tea smoothies, acai fruit bowls with protein and yogurt parfaits with added protein.
Weston says she was a former customer of Tiger Nutrition before taking over the business and loved the products. “I decided to replace sodas with a much healthier option, the loaded teas. I immediately saw results,” she says. Now, her goal is for her customers to love the products just as much as she does. “We have vegan, gluten free, soy free and almond milk options for people with dietary restrictions,” she says. “We even let customers tailor items to their liking and name their creations.”
This week, Tiger Nutrition extended its business hours to allow for more shopping opportunity in the evening. It is now open 6:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday for those “who want a healthy meal replacement, protein shake before or after a workout or the tired mom who needs a healthy caffeine boost to finish her mom duties all evening,” Weston says.
