The Assignment: The Broadway Hotel Remodel
The Location: Top of Tower II
Perspective is one of my favorite things to use as I take photos. High and low angles can change the way everything is perceived.
The view of downtown from the top of Tower II at The Broadway Hotel briefly made me think Columbia was a big concrete jungle instead of a quaint little town. Granted, most of these buildings didn’t exist when I first moved here. I think these additions to the landscape are good and bad. It is kind of ironic that the view from the other side of the hotel features mostly trees. The opposite side looks more like the sleepy little town I used to know. So, there is hope. It just depends on your perspective.
