By El Poblano Grill & Cantina has taken over the former location of Seasoning 63, a popular Chinese restaurant, in Columbia.
According to a sign on the door in September 2023, Seasoning 63 temporarily closed on Aug. 26, saying it would return soon. El Poblano Grill & Cantina then took over the spot at 2513 Old 63 S., suite 103.
According to a statement from the new establishment, El Poblano offers traditional Mexican cuisine in each bite. “Let your palate transport you to an authentic Mexican kitchen full of flavors, colors, smells and ingredients. Our mission is to share with you our culinary roots and the recipes of our ancestors through our exquisite meals, that make you feel part of our legendary family.”
El Poblano is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. El Poblano has several other locations throughout Missouri, including Jefferson City, Hartville and Springfield.
