T he Celery Saturn is a classic gin-based tiki cocktail. I made one main change: instead of classic syrup, I used an oleo saccharum syrup. This means not adding any water and only using the celery and cucumber. And Hendrick’s gin loves to be with cucumber, so I created a small spin on a classic.

Celery Saturn
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounce Hendrick's Gin
- 3/4 ounce Lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce Giffard Sirop Orgeat (almond syrup)
- 3/4 ounce Celery/cucumber oleo saccharum
- 1/4 ounce Velvet Falernum Liqueur
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a slice of cucumber.
- Shake well, then strain into a glass filled with ice.
- For a more rustic presentation, skip the straining step — known as a "dirty dump" — and pour everything directly into the glass.
- Garnish with a celery stalk and a cucumber slice.
