Lift your holiday spirits and sink into your favorite couch at Ragtag for two classic films this week.
Tonight at 6 p.m., “Home Alone,” the family comedy sans-family, is part of Ragtag’s ongoing Extra Credit series. Extra Credit invites researchers from the University of Missouri to examine and discuss pop culture after dissecting some of the most influential films to date. After the screening, attend a panel discussion with university researchers to unpack the movie or just enjoy that festive film feeling.
“Home Alone” tickets for non-members are available here; they’re $9 for children and seniors and $11 for adults.
The holiday energy continues on Saturday, Dec. 13, with two screenings of “The Muppet Christmas Carol,” the whimsical 1992 adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic. The screening at 11 a.m. will have a reduced no-talking policy for children, making this screening the ideal destination for families with chattery kiddos. The screening at 7 p.m. will resume Ragtag’s standard no-talking policy. Get your tickets here!
