On May 7, the Columbia Chamber of Commerce announced Partner for Better had been voted by a panel of chamber leaders as small business of the year. Partner for Better is an organization that aids nonprofits in planning, grant writing, leadership, management and more. Nearly 50 nonprofits benefit from the help of Partner for Better. Since its founding in 2022, the organization has raised over $12 million in grant funds.

Other finalists up for the recognition were CoMo Premium Exteriors, Better Together Mental Health, Optimized CFO + Controller Services and Cooper’s Ridge Event Venue.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Partner for Better over the years,” the organization stated on Facebook. “We could not have gotten here without our amazing community. We are forever grateful and look forward to doing more good work for Columbia and beyond. We’re just getting started!”
