Como Smoke & Fire opened its second location in south Columbia earlier this month and now officially has its liquor license.
Since opening the new location on Dec. 14, the business has seen a good response from the community. The business originally opened the south location while still waiting on its liquor license and high chairs, but noted in a Facebook post on Dec. 15 that they did not want those things to prevent the official opening. The post also thanked the Columbia community for the “tremendous support” seen so far.
The popular local barbecue restaurant opened its new location in the building that once housed Buckingham Smokehouse Bar-B-Q, 3804 Buttonwood Drive. Buckingham’s was in business for 24 years before closing on April 16, passing the torch to Como Smoke & Fire.
Como Smoke & Fire was recognized earlier this year as the gold winner for Best Barbecue in the 2022 Best of Columbia. You can find the full list of winners on our website.
The new location has the same hours as the original, which is located at 4600 Paris Road #102. Como Smoke & Fire is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
