Two local establishments are taking breaks for a few days, but both will be back up and running quickly.
Goldie’s Bagels on Ninth Street announced it will be closed until Jan. 3 for a winter break. While the break was planned, the business had to close a little earlier than scheduled after pipes froze in the recent cold snap.
Pizza Tree also announced on social media it will be closed until 4 p.m. Saturday. Though the business is closed, people can still place orders in advance on the website for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
