Tacos 4 Life opened a new location at 511 E. Green Meadows Road, starting with a three-day soft opening last week. At Tacos 4 Life, for every meal that is purchased, one meal is donated to help starving children all around the world.
Over the course of the three-day soft opening, enough donations were raised to cover 35,378 meals. For every taco, bowl, quesadilla, salad or nachos sold, 24 cents is donated, which is enough to cover one meal packaged at MobilePack events by volunteers. The meals are then distributed through Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit partnered with the business.
Tacos 4 Life is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information on the business and its mission, visit tacos4life.com.
