Spring hiking season is coming up quickly, and Alpine Shop is helping you get ready for the trails. Saturday at 5:30 p.m., join the staff for a free, after-hours clinic designed to answer questions, prepare your gear and more.
What you can expect:
- Samples of trail meals
- Pack fitting and adjustments
- Footwear, sock and insole fit checks
- “10 Essentials” station for ensuring you have necessary items
- “Fix-It & Tune-Up” station with stove checks, gear inspections and other small repairs
In addition to a knowledgeable staff ready and willing to help, there will be complimentary beer and seltzer and plenty of time to ask questions. While there is no pressure to buy anything, Alpine Shop is offering a 15% off discount on select items if you realize you need to replace or add something to your pack.
