Columbia’s 73rd annual Fire in the Sky festival kicks off tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. at Stephens Lake Park, with kids’ activities, food trucks and live music at the amphitheater. The fireworks display will begin at 9:15 p.m., set to music simulcast on KBXR 102.3.

Live music entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Crooked Fix, followed by We B Friends at 7:55 p.m. The kids area — along the lake trail — will feature crafts, games, inflatables, face painting, and roaming entertainers Show Me Dinos and Circus Kaput.

This event is free to attend, and parking will be available at Boone Hospital. The Old Highway 63 lot will be available for ADA-accessible parking and drop-off only. Go COMO transit buses will provide complimentary shuttle services from all six city parking garages to Stephens Lake Park from 5-11 p.m.
