From German shepherds to the tiniest Yorkie, bring your talented pups to the Lizzi & Rocco’s Dog Field Day this Sunday at the south location (550 East Green Meadows) starting at noon.
Competition events include:
- Snout Route (12 p.m.): Put your dog’s nose to the test in a scent-based challenge designed to see who can sniff their way to victory.
- Musical Sit (12:20 p.m.): Musical chairs, but for dogs! When the music stops, your pup must sit. Last dog sitting wins.
- Best Trick (12:40 p.m.): Whether it’s rolling over, cleaning up toys or something completely unique, show off your dog’s best trick.
- Egg Walk (1 p.m.): Guide your dog while balancing an egg on a spoon. One hand for the leash, one hand for the spoon.
- Garbage Disposal (1:20 p.m.): Who’s the least picky pup in town? Each round features a different food item. Dogs that eat it move on to the next round until only one champion remains
- Tower of Will Power (1:40 p.m.): How long can your dog resist temptation? Staff will keep stacking treats and testing patience to find the ultimate self-control superstar.
Does your dog have what it takes? Winners will receive prizes, bragging rights and a well-earned round of applause.
