Next week, local activists are gathering to discuss creating safe streets for everyone. On Wednesday, Local Motion is hosting CoMo Livable Streets Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. at Waves Cider Company.

The Livable Streets project is designed to transform the transportation system in Columbia in order to benefit everyone. On Wednesday, people are encouraged to enjoy some cider, pizza and join in on the conversation.

The group will be writing postcards to city leaders, listen to music and discuss ways to improve transportation in the area. Anyone is welcome and food will be provided for those who attend. For more information, visit CoMoStreets.org.
