Mid-Missouri Pride Fest to Celebrate Love This Weekend

Mid-Missouri Pridefest 2023 is celebrating with an entire weekend of free events at Rose Music Hall, including a street fair with around 170 vendors, expanded family area, health pavilion, main stage and food vendors.

The all-volunteer organization is focused on total inclusivity and plans and presents the annual celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in Columbia.

The opening ceremony starts at noon Saturday, followed by a street fair from noon-7 p.m., a drag story hour, DIVAS by Design, Muse Pole Fitness and more. On Sunday, the parade starts at noon on Broadway from Ninth Street to Fourth Street, followed by the street fair, a Mayor Barbara Buffaloe look alike contest, family yoga and more. Headlining musical performers will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by a drag showcase at 8 p.m. each evening.

There will be several food vendors, including Coco Locos Pineapple Drinks & Whip, Mr. Murphy’s Stuffed Potatoes, The Big Cheeze, Gina’s Vegan A Go Go, The Patty Wagon, VooDoo Sno, Ozark Mountain Biscuit & Bar, Big Daddy’s BBQ, Dada Döner and Good Time Charlies.
