The Out of the Darkness Columbia Walk is back to bring awareness to the effects of suicide. The doors open at 11 a.m. Sunday at Stephens Lake Park with community resource tables, a bounce house, an obstacle course, a memory wall, honor beads, sand art and more. Bring a picture of your loved one to place on the memory wall. There will also be a kids activity shelter with games, coloring sheets, chalk and face painting.

The Out of the Darkness community walk is a way to remember, bring hope and support the community. The walk provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways that suicide and mental health conditions have affected people’s lives and those lost.
