Belly Market & Rotisserie, formerly Hoss’s Market, is starting a new era with its Dinner and Bar Program.
Co-owners Benjamin Hamrah and Amanda Elliot opened Belly Market in July of 2022 in south Columbia and have since spent time learning about the community surrounding the business. “We knew we wanted to make our own mark and show our own perspective on the market, but we also knew we didn’t want to make any serious changes without first determining whether or not the community would support it,” Hamrah says in a press release.
Now, the co-owners will be showing a different side of the market. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, Belly Market will be serving the lunch menu with counter service. From 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, customers can get service featuring seasonal shareable plates created by Elliott and the new Chef Grant Williamson, plus an exciting bar curated by Greg Haefner.
Belly Markets’ goal is to transform from day to night, offering a comfortable counter-service setup during the day and a more formal, intimate ambiance in the evening. “The goal is to show a very comfortable and informal look during the day; our guests order at the counter, and get their own beverages. At night, we want to give our guests a place to relax with friends or bring their loved ones for a special evening, more like a traditional restaurant with a waitstaff catering to their every need,” says Hamrah in a press release.
According to the press release, the entire team is thrilled about this new chapter and anticipates a lively atmosphere with live music and a bustling patio scene in the coming months. To learn more about Belly Market, visit eatbellymarket.com.
