Irene’s Celebrates Two Years in Business

By Jane Steinbrecher

In 2023, Tim Eisenhauer, Frances Harvey and Joshua Smith opened a brick-and-mortar version of their barbecue pop-up, previously known as Barbacoas del Norte.

Now, Irene’s is described as a “live-fire restaurant and bar,” featuring shared platters of unique meals inspired by the Southern U.S., Texas, Mexico and the Caribbean. At their bar, sample mezcals, sweet margaritas and craft beers.

To celebrate two years in business, Irene’s is offering a new mezcal selection, directly from Oaxaca. This new mezcal has been distilling for the past two years, according to their Instagram post, making it the perfect way to celebrate two years of thriving business in Columbia.

Whether you order it neat, in a cocktail or on the rocks, their Real Minero mezcal is sure to satisfy. Stop in at Irene’s to celebrate the anniversary and feast on tacos, barbecue or hearty sandwiches.
