Budlight recently released limited edition Rams’ bottles so LA fans can celebrate their Super Bowl win. A bit ironic, wouldn’t you say, seeing how Anheuser-Busch started in St. Louis. Of course, it’s now known as Anheuser-Busch InBev, after having been bought in July of 2008, but A-B InBev is still headquartered in the city with the Gateway Arch.
The Rams, on the other hand, have gotten around. The team called Cleveland home until 1946. They then relocated to LA and played there from 1946 through 1994. The team then moved to St. Louis in 1995 where they played until the end of the 2015 season.
The Rams’ last game played in St. Louis, in what was by then known as the Edward Jones Dome, was against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Dec. 17, 2015. They won, 31–23. The Rams’ last game as a St. Louis-based franchise was on Jan. 3, 2016, against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. They lost in overtime 19–16.
