Got your eye on a pie?

In the holiday shuffle, the last thing you want to forget is that sweet treat at the end of the meal. Rather than lighting your oven on fire or stressing over what to bake, let one of Columbia’s local restaurants give you a hand.

At Peggy Jean’s Pies, the Thanksgiving order form is open from now until Sunday, Nov. 16. Last year, the bakery pivoted to pre-orders only during the week of Thanksgiving, so get your orders in and secure your pie. Only the nine-inch size will be available, coming in flavors such as pumpkin, chocolate bourbon pecan, cherry and more.

For smaller portions, Pasta La Fata is selling quartered pies for more intimate get-togethers along with full-size pies. Orders are open now and must be submitted by Sunday, Nov. 16. Options include pecan, Dutch apple and spiced pumpkin.
