At 921 East Broadway, a new locally owned business is popping off. The Popcorn Corner serves over 50 flavors of popcorn, along with soda, chips and candy. Try their handmade caramel blend or go the savory and salty route with the Chicago Blend — a mix of caramel and cheese flavors.
“We have every color of the rainbow,” owner Mike Curry says. “The flavors can be mixed and matched, too.”
The bold and fun flavors include their new colorful Fourth of July edition snack, available for sale now. Curry also hinted the upcoming release of a black and yellow Mizzou-themed popcorn: a sweet chocolate-banana mix.
The newly reopened Popcorn Corner comes after a hiatus started in June of 2024. The owners, Myia and Mike Curry, have since transitioned back into a storefront on Broadway and are open for business.
