Five local restaurants and hundreds of hungry wing-eaters flocked to Logboat Brewing Company for a night of wings, local beer and philanthropy. Hosted by UCP Heartland, the event raised donations for children and adults living with disabilities. A panel of judges voted on the best wings in each category. Votes from guests decided the “people’s choice,” awarded to D. Rowe’s. Dickey’s Barbecue won the dry rub and buffalo categories, and D & D Pub n Grub and Flat Branch tied for best specialty wings.
