Jane Steinbrecher joined the team at Inside Columbia in October 2024 after graduating from the University of Missouri, where she studied print journalism. Jane was born and raised in St. Louis, but loves the vibrant community here in Columbia, specifically the restaurant scene. Her favorite spots are Barred Owl and Ocha Noodles & Ramen. When she isn’t editing away, you can almost always find Jane with her friends, growing her vinyl collection at Hitt Street Records or sinking into a seat at the Forum with a bucket of popcorn. Jane has wanted to be a writer since she was six years old and still has a few of her earliest “stories.” She is thrilled to live out that childhood dream at such a beloved magazine.
