Women to Watch 2025: Rebekah Cline

By Inside Columbia

Rebekah Cline was inspired by her mother to pursue a career in the legal field. While the law profession is typically male-dominated, Cline grew up seeing her mother, also a lawyer, lead with confidence and integrity. Her mother’s practice showed Cline firsthand how powerful advocacy could be. Seeing a strong, capable woman advocate for others inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a difference, too.

Cline pursued her law degree knowing it could open doors to many different paths, but decided to become a personal injury attorney — helping people through some of the most challenging times in their lives. She also spent part of her career in family law, standing beside her clients during turbulent times and hardships. She represents clients in all areas of personal injury law. Whether it be a car accident, product liability, workers’ compensation, wrongful death or any other area, Cline has your back and is ready to take a stand for you. She says she feels incredibly fortunate to do work she loves, seeking justice for her clients through compassion and helping them navigate the complicated legal system.

As a woman in a male-dominated field, Cline has learned to assert herself and make her voice heard, no matter how scary it may be at first. She believes in the power of standing up for what you believe in and embracing the freedom to advocate for what is right. She says these skills and the confidence she has gained help her grow personally and professionally. This is what being a “Woman to Watch” is all about for Cline: using her platform to make a meaningful impact.

For other women considering a career in law, Cline encourages them to shoot for the stars. “I love seeing women take leadership roles, build influential practices and shape the culture of the legal profession to be more inclusive and supportive,” Cline says. “My advice to women getting into the legal profession is to seek out mentors who challenge and inspire you.”

Apart from her mother, Cline says she found strong female mentors in law when she moved from Ohio to Columbia three years ago. She says they supported her, helped her grow and shaped her into the person and attorney she is today. It’s all about community, solidarity and support. Cline is a member of the American Bar Association, the Boone County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers Association of Mid-Missouri, where she continues to build her bonds in the community. However, her main focus remains on representing her clients.

When “sorry” doesn’t cut it, Cline at Sticklen & Sticklen is prepared to fight for the compensation you deserve. If you’re injured in mid-Missouri, suffering financial loss, pain, emotional distress or other impacts from sudden injury, Cline gets results.
