May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the United States and Columbia is looking to celebrate.

On Saturday, Rose Music Hall will present Lotus In Bloom: A Celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Culture in Columbia. The full-day event will begin at 1 p.m., with doors opening at noon, and include local food vendors, music by DJ Seoul Train, Tri-County Liquidators, Drona and more, as well as a sake tasting, an origami station and henna from Simsima’s Henna.

Tickets are $10 and 50% of all proceeds will benefit City of Refuge, a local nonprofit that seeks to help refugees and immigrants recover and regain control of their lives. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
