Women’s Volleyball Team Secures Spot in 2023 NCAA Championship

The University of Missouri Volleyball team, boasting a 17-12 record, has secured an at-large bid into the 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Earning the eighth seed, the Tigers are set to face off against Delaware in the first round of the NCAA Lincoln Regional at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nebraska will also face Long Island University at 7 p.m. Friday. The winners of these Friday matchups will go head-to-head in the second round at 7 p.m. Saturday.

This marks the University of Missouri’s 18th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, their first since the memorable 2020 season. 

The winners of the regionals will advance to the national semifinals and championship final, hosted by the University of South Florida in collaboration with the Tampa Bay Sports Commission on Dec. 14 and 17 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
