Mizzou Athletics Open to Revenue Sharing

Good news for student-athletes: athletic director Laird Veatch announced a shift in the department’s finances, planning to share revenue with student-athletes.

This plan, referred to as ‘A Will to Win’, would rid the university of scholarship limits, allowing the department to allocate millions of dollars towards talent. The scope of collegiate athletics is changing rapidly and Veatch argues that Mizzou must stay modern in order to compete with other schools, especially peers in the Southeastern conference.
