A local favorite changed its menu for the first time in a decade. Jesse Lark, an owner of Murry’s in Columbia, says it’s been 10 years since something was added and remained on the menu. “People don’t even open the menu anymore, they know what they want,” he says.

Now, people have two more items to choose from including the new Jim Bob’s beef tenderloin kebabs with a chipotle brie sauce, and cheese fries made with brie sauce. So far, Lark says the new items have been a hit. “It feels like everyone who has ordered it keeps ordering it,” he says.

This is the first permanent menu change since the pork burger was added 10 years ago. Lark says they made a temporary change in 2016 but it did not stick.
