Cat naps are for everyone even for Papa’s Cat Café staff in downtown Columbia. This week, Papa’s Cat Café posted to Facebook announcing a temporary closure.

The café, located at 14 S. 2nd St. closed its doors on Monday, saying it won’t reopen until Aug. 3.

Employees say any communication with the café and its Boone County Animal Care partners will be delayed, and adoptions will be paused during this time.
