Everybody knows children love candy. So why not teach them how to make their own candy bark?

At 10 a.m. Saturday, parents can bring their mini chefs to Back 2 Basics Cooking at 500 E. Walnut St. The fun and engaging class is meant to help children strengthen their cooking skills without parents having to worry about the mess.

All the food, cooking utensils, aprons and everything else the kids need will be provided by Back 2 Basics Cooking. All mini chefs will get to take the candy bark recipe home to recreate it.

The class costs $40 per child and sign-up is required as seating is limited. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
