Malagasy Cooking Class Set For Friday

For those who love cooking, drinking and learning about new cultures, head to the MU Family Impact Friday for a Malagasy Cooking Class.

Attendees will learn how to cook the traditional foods of Madagascar with the headline artist of the event, Aina Cook. After the cooking class, people will get to relax and enjoy tasting the food that was created will sipping on a glass of wine.

Typical Malagasy cuisine consists of a plate of rice, served with vegetables or meat, topped with a sauce flavored with such ingredients as ginger, onion, garlic, tomato, vanilla, salt, curry powder.

The class is from 7-9 p.m. at. the MU Family Impact Center. Tickets are $30 each and you must register before attending. For more information on the cooking class, click here.
