Columbia Lighting Up for the Christmas Season

By Inside Columbia

The Christmas season is officially upon us, and Columbia has several places to enjoy the holiday atmosphere.

From 5-8 p.m. tonight, enjoy the lighting of the Magic Tree in The Village of Cherry Hill. No tickets are needed; just come and enjoy the magic of Christmas.

The community is also invited to drive through the Veterans United Bright Lights Holiday Nights from 7-10:30 p.m. Dec. 5-17. To avoid traffic build up, participants should enter through State Farm Parkway.

If you want to sip on a brew and take in the Christmas season, the community can also enjoy Candy Cane Crib lights set up at Logboat Brewing Co., which went up on Nov. 22 with a lighting ceremony.

And if you are more in the mood to take in the sights of the season while in the car, Columbia has a Christmas lights locator with several decorated houses around town to visit.
