A film festival dedicated to inspiring environmental activism is coming to The Blue Note as part of the urgent call to action to encourage those watching the films to learn how they can help save the planet.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the South Yuba River Citizens League, which protects, restores and celebrates the Yuba River Watershed.
On Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at The Blue Note, the Columbia community is welcome to be a part of this nature-focused event and view a selection of films that highlight how to protect the Earth.
Tickets can be purchased in person at The Blue Note starting 30 minutes before doors open or at the event partners: Clovers, 2012 E. Broadway, and the Alpine Shop, 1102 E. Broadway
General admission tickets are $20 and VIP tickets are $45, which includes reserved seating at a private table, movie snacks and two free drinks either non-alcoholic or alcoholic.
Missouri Coalition for the Environment members can get a 20% discount on tickets when you event your member discount code. If you have any questions about your membership, contact Carmen Harris via email at charris@moenvironment.org.
