Café Poland Under New Ownership

By Jane Steinbrecher

A Columbia staple, Café Poland has been serving up perogies and other traditional eats for over a decade. In November, the restaurant transitioned to new ownership and saw a short hiatus in service.

New owners Madison Tasker and Antoine De Los Santos have taken the reigns from previous owners Iowana and Robert Galijska.

“It has been an honor and a pleasure learning from Iwona and Robert over the last three months and we truly hope to make them proud as we continue the legacy they have built here in Columbia,” Tasker says.

As of now, Café Poland will be open for business from 10 am. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, so stop in for authentic Polish sausage, house-made Sauerkraut, great drinks and conversation.
