A new Italian restaurant with New York flare is coming to downtown Columbia. Endwell Taverna will feature handcrafted pizza, pasta and craft cocktails.
The new culinary spot, which is a collaboration between NYC Chef Ted Cianciosi and Bryan Maness, chef and owner of Ozark Mountain Biscuit & Bar, will be located at 107 N. 9th St. and plans to open in spring 2024.
According to the website, the bar menu will highlight Italian classics, familiar favorites and new creations. “We offer the finest Italian spirits and provide an opportunity to explore the world of Amaro with our extensive collection,” the website says.
But the main event is the 12-inch and 18-inch Brooklyn-style pizza. Endwell Taverna’s journey began over three generations ago when the Cianciosi family left Italy and came to New York. “They landed in a New York community of other striving Italian-Americans finding ways to fit their traditional family recipes onto the American dinner table,” the website says.
Customers will be able to experience hand-made delights six days a week for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and happy hours, dinner and late-night options from 4 p.m. to close.
